The same steps as the videos, written out. Everything is free, and it takes about a minute once you are set up.

Go to app.farmscoutapp.com and press "Don't have an account? Sign Up." Bookmark that page - it is where you manage your listing.
Claim your farm, or add it
Search your farm name. If it is already listed, claim it. If it is not there, press Farm Not Listed.
Fill in the details and submit
Name, address, seller type and product categories. Press Generate Location Pin so you land in the right spot on the map, tick the owner box, then Validate & Submit.
We approve it, then it is yours
Once approved, sign back in the same way and update your listing free, any time.
Type what you have, separated by commas
In Inventory & Events, put products and events on one line, a comma between each, then press +. Each one becomes its own row.
tomatoessweet cornu-pick apples sat 10/4 10am-4pmlive music sun 10/5 2-5pm
Press Save Changes - it goes live right away
Sold out? Switch that item off - it reads Unavailable and stays saved. Back in stock? Switch it on. Tap X only to remove something for good, like a past event. Press Save Changes after any switch.
This is what a customer sees
Your name, distance, the date you last updated, a Farmer Verified badge, and every item you typed as its own tag - so someone searching "pumpkins" or "live music" finds you. Get Directions is one tap.
Veteran-owned or certified organic? Tick the box
Under Farm Certifications & Designations, check Veteran-Owned or Certified Organic (current USDA certification only). Customers searching "veteran" or "organic" can then find you.
Check it weekly. Update it when things change.
Customers search for specific things - tomatoes, sweet corn, beef, live music, u-pick apples. If an item is not in your listing, your farm may not appear in that search even if you have it. Add new products and events, switch sold-out items off, remove past events.
Closed on a day you are usually open? Say so in your listing.
Weather, a broken-down tractor, a private event, or you sold out early. Put a quick note in Inventory & Events so nobody drives out to a closed gate.
- Switch your items off for the day.
- Type a short note with the date, like "closed today 9/26 due to weather", and press +. New items start switched on, so it shows right away.
- Press Save Changes.
- When you reopen, switch the note off (or tap X), switch your items back on, and Save Changes. Everything you had is still there.
Skip commas inside the note - a comma starts a new item.
No stand of your own? You can still be on FarmScout.
Egg farmers, oyster growers and small producers who sell through other stands, markets and events can still have a listing, so customers searching for what you grow can find you.
- Use your farm or facility address, and say in your description that there is no stand on site and how to buy from you, like "call or text for pickup orders."
- In Inventory & Events, list what you sell and where it is sold - each place or event as its own item, for example "eggs $7 a dozen at [Farm Stand Name] in [Town]" or "oysters at [Market Name] saturdays 8am-12pm".
- Update it when the stands, markets or events you supply change.
Prefer to text? For unclaimed listings only.
If you do not want to claim or manage your listing, text 631-223-8885 with your name, farm name and full address, then your current inventory and upcoming events separated by commas, with event dates and times. Text again when things change. Already claimed? Please update through your farmer account.
