FarmScout is currently free to use. Farmers list free.

For customers

Download the app and go. There is no card to enter and nothing to cancel. Sponsored local events, farms and food organizations help cover the app, the map and the daily work of keeping thousands of listings current.

A paid member tier with extra perks is planned for the months ahead. Ordinary search, the map and farm details stay free. Any price will be shown in the app before you pay, through the App Store or Google Play.

Founding Members

If you paid for a FarmScout subscription before October 22, 2026, you are a Founding Member. Here is exactly what that means:

Everything in the app today, free, for life. Right now that is true for everyone while FarmScout is sponsor-supported.
The member tier, included. We are planning a paid member tier in the months ahead with extra perks - things like a trip planner with saved stops and updates from the farms you follow. When it launches, it is included for Founding Members at no charge, for life.
You do not need to keep paying. Your Founding Member status stays whether or not your subscription renews. If you would rather not be charged again, turn off auto-renew in your Apple ID subscription settings (iPhone) or in Google Play subscriptions (Android) - your status does not change.
On a free trial right now? You can cancel it - the app is free either way. If it converts before you get to it, you are a Founding Member too.
What it covers: the core FarmScout member tier for individual users. If we ever offer a separate product for businesses, that is not included.

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google Play, or any question at all, write to [email protected] - it goes straight to Heather.

Fresh & Dated Information: Every inventory and event update is stamped with the date it was observed, so you can see how fresh it is before you drive.

Zero Middlemen: FarmScout is a discovery guide, not a marketplace. We don't take cuts from farm sales or charge transaction fees - 100% of your purchases go directly to the growers.
